Insurance requirements
You insure what you store. Here is what we ask for.
Everyone
- Keep your vehicles, trailers, equipment, boats and RVs insured for theft and damage while stored.
- YardKey's insurance does not cover your property.
Business tenants
- Commercial general liability insurance, in the amount stated in your agreement.
- YardKey named as an additional insured where your agreement requires it.
- Upload your certificate of insurance in My Yard before move-in and again at each renewal.
Reminders
My Yard tracks your certificate's expiry date and emails you 30 and 7 days before it runs out.
